Water and Wastewater Energy Efficiency Workshop
On Aug. 24 and Aug. 25 the Water and Wastewater Energy Efficiency Workshops were held at the Northern Kentucky Area Development District (ADD) in Florence and the FIVCO ADD in Grayson.  Participants learned how to improve water and wastewater treatment plants that operate more efficiently and lower utility bills. Performance contracting was discussed as a way to enhance facilities without having to increase rates. Presenters also provided case studies, discussed options, solutions and water and energy challenges.
 
 
On July 20 and July 21 the Water and Wastewater Energy Efficiency Workshops were held at Cumberland Valley Area Development District (ADD) in London and Pennyrile ADD in Hopkinsville. Participants learned how to improve water and wastewater treatment plants that operate more efficiently and lower utility bills. Performance contracting was discussed as a way to enhance facilities without having to increase rates. Presenters also provided case studies, discussed options, solutions and water and energy challenges.
